Gas Tracker Hub

Privacy Policy

Who we are

Gas Tracker Hub is a free gas price tracker operated by Chainitor. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not ask you for any personal details.

What we collect

We use Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves rather than a third-party service. It records aggregate usage: pages viewed, the site that referred you, which links you click, how far you scroll, roughly how long you stay, and page performance timings.

Umami sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites (the campaign attribution id described below is separate). Your IP address and browser user-agent are hashed into an identifier that rotates daily and is discarded the next day, so we cannot re-identify you from it. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this site as the legal basis for this processing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Links to Chainitor

On your first visit this site generates a random id, not derived from your IP address, device or identity, and keeps it in your browser's local storage together with the campaign tags of the link that brought you (such as utm_source), the referring site and the page you landed on. It is not a cookie. When you follow a link to Chainitor, the id and campaign tags are added to that link. We use them only to learn which campaigns lead to Chainitor sign-ups and subscriptions. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data (local storage) in your browser settings; otherwise they stay there. What happens to them on Chainitor, and any account you create there, is covered by the Chainitor privacy policy.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only identifier that leaves this site is the campaign attribution id described above, and only when you follow a link to Chainitor.
  • We do not collect wallet addresses, and we never ask you to connect a wallet.
